By default, ideas/projects are visible to the campaign audience regardless of the state they are currently at, with the following exceptions:
- When the idea/project/etc. is defined as confidential
- The idea/project/etc. is in DRAFT, and therefore visible only for the authors and moderators.
The state visibility is defined per state.
CS tip:
It is recommended to limit to only limit the visibility of states which are before other visible states. Otherwise, users might be surprise/frustrated to not be able to access ideas that have been be ale to access and even vote/comment on previously.

Setting is being done via the Sub system Setting -- > workflow (<URL>/self-admin/sys-components/subsystems/subsystem/2727/workflow)
and then clicking the Edit icon the relevant state:
The default setting can be changed as needed and limit the visibility to specific roles.
Notes:
- The moderators, state owners of the current state, and authors will always have access to the idea
- The Authenticated users option is relevant only for Open systems (i.e subsystems that are accessible for anonymous users_
- The Internal users option is relevant only for system that are open also for external users
- The Power Viewers and Low-level roles definition is an advanced configuration package. Contact your CSM if relevant.
