In order to support gamification, users can get points for various activities in the system.

The user points can be viewed in several places throughout the system, for example on the campaign level or in a user's profile page. Read this article to learn more about this.

Usually a misalignment  in the number of points will be due to the "zone" you are currently at.

On the user page, you will always see the total amount of points the user gained across all subsystem and all tenants.

As a sysadmin/tenant admin, you can see the points received by all users divided by action category (submission, comments, etc.) when running the "Points Report".

This report can be run on from the subsystem reports menu OR from the "System Overview" reports menu (to go there, switch to  system overview zone, then click "Reports" < "Points Report".

Like always, the reports will refer to the points that are associated with activities in current tenant.

Note that the author can earn points when their idea advances, and these are considered submission points. So even if a user didn't submit any idea in a specific month, they can still earn "submission" points in this month although they didn't submit any new ones.

If you are checking the points in a campaign level, please note that you will see only the points earned in this campaign only, and might not match the user's total points if received additional points from other tenants or subsystems.
