The Qmarkets platform provides administrators with flexible options for triggering and enforcing Terms and Conditions (T&C) acceptance and also enable difference T&Cs per user type.
This article outlines the available configurations and how to apply them effectively.
How the Terms and Conditions will be Displayed?
There are two triggers due to which Terms and Conditions will be prompted:
- Per user:
- Upon Registration/First Login
New users are required to accept the T&C as part of the platform registration/first access process, ensuring compliance before they gain access.
The acceptance of the T&C can be combined with other profile fields that needs to be inserted based on the setting of the profile fields. - Once there is a new T&C version
Users are prompted to review and accept a new version of the T&C the next time they log in, ensuring all users are always aligned with the latest policies.
The system can support multiple T&C versions can be created and configured independently, relevant to a specific user type.
This allows organizations to, for example, maintain one T&C form for employees and one for external users.
Note:
Activating this setting is done by Qmarkets team. Pls contact your CSM/support if needed.
- Upon Registration/First Login
- Per Submission:
- Subsystem admin can force an enforcement of the T&C on every submission.
It will be displayed as a standard checkbox submission field, but can include a link to additional information.
If used, assuming this would be relevant to all submissions, across all challenges, it is highly recommended to define the T&C field as mandatory and as "Selected and forced" as explained in this article.

T&C Format Options
The appropriate format depends on the length and complexity of the Terms and Conditions content:
- Short T&C (3–4 lines) - Content can be entered directly using HTML formatting, allowing for clean, inline presentation within the platform.
- Long T&C - Two options are available for more extensive content:
The T&C can be presented as plain text without HTML formatting, or a link to the full document can be provided externally
