The “Login As” is a premium feature that has been developed to support Qmarkets’ products system administrators to login to the products as if they were any other specific user in the system.
The main purpose of using it is to experience the user as this user, including having the same access permissions as this person, seeing his tasks, being able to perform the same actions etc.
How it works:
• Being able to use this feature requires a specific role.
• This role can be assigned to any user by any of the system administrators.
• Once a user has this role (user #1), he can (after authenticating as himself/herself) switch to be logged in as any other user in the system, and act as this user (user #2).
o All actions performed will be logged as done by the user #2 and added to his history and statistics.
This includes also “one time” actions like: acceptance of term and conditions, indication of “first visit” in a certain campaign/challenge etc.
In addition, in case a performed action is triggering an email to user #2, will trigger is also in this case (e.g a thank you email after submission, subscription mail etc.).
o There will be an indication in the system logged that user #1 logged in as user#2. These logs are accessible only by Qmarkets team.
o The “last Access” time of user#2 will not be affected by this action
• In order to switch back to his/her user, user #1 logged needs to log out and login again.
We recommend that this permission not be assigned to more than 1-2 users.
