The decision makers, task owners and stakeholders are essential factor for an efficient and successful innovation process, and and it's important to acknowledge them for helping with the screening and management of the innovation process.
One of the ways to do it, it to give them points once the complete their task.
The points setting depends on who should get it:
- Option 1:
a task owner which is assigned since a "feature" (i.e. task, expert review, impact analysis, etc.) was assigned to him manually or automatically. - Option 2:
a state owner which is assigned with a moderation task once an idea/project has been move to a state in which he/she is the state owner.
Option 1
If your subsystem uses features that require a user to complete a "task", such as "Expert Management" or "Task Management", there is an option to give points to the Task Owner. These points can be awarded when the idea transitions through the workflow.
1. From within the Workflow Settings, select the Features Settings tab.
2. Click "Settings" for the feature.
As seen in the example below, there are initially three state options that can be set with points: Review Pending, Review Ready, and Archived. Further states can be added within the feature's workflow.
Option 2
If your subsystem setting includes assignment of specific roles as s state owner, per state you can define how many points will be assigned to the state owner.
From within the Workflow Settings, select the edit icon next to the relevant state, and define the number of points.
* This applies to moderation tasks on subsystem entities (such as ideas, projects etc.) as well as on features.
