When there is a need to handle multiple user types, for example: Employees that connect via SSO vs. External Visitors that need to self-register), a new user that never logged in before to the system, and/or doesn't have a direct link into an inner page will be directed to the welcome screen.
This is an example for an internal we user to collect ideas and other feedback from Qmarkets employees, our partners and main POCs within our customers: Qmarkets Innovation Hub
Based on the square that is clicked, the user will be directed to the relevant authentication method (SSO/ username + password /self registration), relevant landing page and more.
From the welcome screen, each user can easily navigate the relevant landing page.
The page can be configured with a background image, welcome text, and selection options for each of the user types defined.
Changes to the welcome page can be submitted to the Support team for processing. If interested, please include the following:
- Background image (min 1400px wide, 2x1 ratio) - see #1 below
- Welcome page title (<45 chars) - see #2 below
- Welcome page description (approx. 300 characters) - see #3 below
- For each user type:
- User type label (approx. 15-20 chars) - see #4, #6
- Additional description (approx. 60-70 chars) - see #5, #7
