Email notifications ensure users are updated on key events that require their interaction or awareness. The content of the notifications are managed by the Sysadmin. In a multi-language environment, users receive notifications in their preferred language.

Types of notifications supported by Qmarkets:

  • User tagging

    • Tagged user receives email and onscreen notification
    • Email can be edited by Sysadmin through Self-Admin tools

  • Subscription emails
    • When subscribed to an idea -
By default, users will get a single weekly mail with all  new comments that were submitted by other users
    • When subscribed to a campaign- the email will be sent on each submitted idea.
    • These are the default setting of the system:
      • campaign managers are automatically subscribed to ideas on their campaign, but this can be modified per campaign through the campaign wizard:

      • Once a user has commented on an idea, he/she will be automatically subscribed to it.
    • The phrasing of this email is managed by Qmarkets.

  • Bulk emails -
    • Sysadmin, tenant admin and campaign managers can send dedicated emails from the system for their communities/ campaign audience.
These emails are used to communicate with the audience on the system success, publish news, promote campaigns, acknowledge users, and more.
    • The mail can be sent to the entire community or to specific portions of it based on profile values and past activity.
    • In a multi-lingual system, the bulk email should be phrased in all languages.
    • The person that is sending the bulk email has access to history records that detailed which bulk emails were sent and to who.

  • Newsletter
    • The newsletter is an effective and efficient tool that enables you to communicate on recent content - generic or personal with your community.
    • In a multi-lingual system, the bulk email should be phrased in all languages.
    • Contact your CSM to know more about it.

  • Notifications
    • Personal emails are essential for enduring efficient and smooth operation
    • The personal emails are sent automatically from the system to relevant users. For example:
      • Notifications to users about new tasks they have, such as:
Being assigned the person that is responsible to process a specific idea, being invited to participate in evaluation session, having a new task
      • Reminders when ideas are "stuck" on a state for too long or overdue
      • Etc.
    • Most personal emails can be added/removed/configured by our system administrator  when defining the subsystem workflow.
    • In a multi-lingual system, the email should be translated by the person that added them through the translation section in the subsystem setting page.
If not translated, the email will be sent in English.
