When an idea is submitted, the user that perform the action is automatically recorded as the idea's author.
There is also an option to the author, to add additional Co-Authors by selecting users in the "Co-Authors" submission field (which can be renamed) to add additional originators while keeping the submitter as the primary author.
The co-authors will gain points, be authorized with the same permissions as the author, get notifications etc. In order to use it, the "co-authors submission field needs to be enabled on the subsystem level and on the campaign level.
The number of co-authors can be limited by the system admin.
On top of that, Qmarkets provides an advanced capability to authorized users (campaign manages and/or sysadmins) to manage idea authorship effectively, whether by changing the author of an existing idea or submitting ideas on behalf of another user.
This capability is especially useful when gathering input from team members without system access, when submitting as someone senior, or whenhen documenting past initiatives.
This guide outlines the processes for both changing an idea's author and submitting ideas on behalf of others.
