- In which subsystem you would like to embed the startup DB.
The classic subsystem in Q-scout, but it can be embedded to any other subsystem as well. - Who are the users that can use the startup DB and import new startups/companies into the system
- What information should be pulled and being updated automatically from Crunchbase.
- A few more settings:
- How often should the information be updated
- To which state in the workflow the new startups/companies should be added
.
This can be useful in case the imported startups/companies need to be reviewed before entering the funnel. - To which "folder"/"campaign" the new startups/companies should be added
This can be useful in case the imported startups/companies need to be manages in a sperate folder than the ones that are imported manually

Decisions 3 be reflected in the subsystem setting as will be explained in this article.
Decision 4 can be is a simple setting that accessed from the subsystem main setting page, integrations Section.
Determining what information will be pulled from Crunchbase
As the integration allows pulling various information about the company/startup, we enable each customer to select which information will be pulled and in what field in Q-scout it will be stored.
How does it work?
Once the integration is enabled, each submission/workflow field can be defined as one that its "Source" is the Startup DB (vs "By User").
Once this selection is set, there is a need to determine what info will be pulled:
The available information changes according to the field type (i.e. text, numeric, date etc.).
This means you first need to edit one of the exists fields OR add a new one.
Note: the company name and logo are pulled automatically into the company title and image in Q-scout.
What info is available to pull
This is the information on the company/startup that can be pulled:
Note: for select fields there is no need to pre-configure the options. Missing options will be added once they are imported.
