Qmarkets offers several approaches for transforming innovative ideas into actionable solutions and optimize their idea management process.
These are the different method to progress ideas along the workflow.
1. Auto Transitions Rules (by system/ campaign)
Defining auto transition rules are the most efficient method since it tasks the logic according which decisions are taking and converting them into rules that will be executed automatically.
Auto-transition rules can be set at both the system level (by the sysadmin/subsystem admin) and adjusted at the campaign level (by the campaign manager).

These rule will apply to all campaigns within the subsystem, but they can be disabled at the campaign level if needed.
To set auto transition rules on the system level, go to the Subsystem settings < Workflow.
In each state, you can add several rules.
For example: let's add a new auto-transition rule to the 'Discussion' state.
In the desired state, go to the 'Auto Transitions From This State' section. Here, you can add a new rule or edit an existing one.
In the settings, you can specify the state to which the idea will transition and under what conditions. Each rule can have multiple conditions, with an 'and' relationship between them. The rule will activate only if all conditions are met.

Transition rules in a specific campaign can be managed under "Campaign Management" < "Transition Rules".
Here you can view and disable the subsystem transition rules and/or add campaign specific transition rules, that will reflect the needs of the specific campaign.
2. Bulk Actions
The 'Bulk Action' feature allows the campaign manager to perform actions on multiple ideas at once, as long as they belong to the same campaign.
To access it, go to 'Idea Management' > 'Bulk Actions' on the campaign menu.
Here you can first filter the ideas, then select the relevant ideas, and then choose the relevant action, including moving the ideas to another state.
The relevant fields that are required when moving the idea to the destination state will pop up in order for you to fill them.
3. Kanban

The Kanban tool provides a simple and efficient way to manage ideas, tasks, and other content within your workflow. Qmarkets’ Kanban display offers an overview of all ideas in ta specific campaign on a single page.
The Kanban also features enhanced drag-and-drop functionality, allowing you to easily move ideas within the workflow.
To use the Kanban view, go to 'Idea Management' > 'Moderation' under the campaign page.
To change an idea's state, simply drag it to the relevant state column. The relevant fields that are required when moving the idea to the destination state will pop up in order for you to fill them.
4. Process a single idea
A single idea can be moved to the next step directly from its page by using the process button.
Any user with the relevant permissions (i.e. the state owner), can change the idea's state according to allowed transitions defined in the workflow settings.
Clicking this button will open a pop up window with all relevant fields, and allow selecting the relevant destination states.
For state owners, the 'process idea' form can also be accessed from the task created when an idea enters the state.
