The logic that determines on what campaign page a user will land (when clicking the campaign title/picture in various locations in the system OR when clicking the campaign link) is designed to maximize focus and engagement.

The user will land on the Campaign overview, when:

  • Getting to this campaign in the first time.
This aims to make sure the user understands the campaign scope and goals before submitting new ideas OR collaborating on existing ones.
    OR
  • The campaign ideas are confidential and/or there are no ideas yet.
This prevents the user to land on an empty page that displays no ideas.

The user will land on the My pending ideas page (in which he can rate the ideas that are pending his/her review), when:

  • The evaluation/review committee session is active AND
  • The user is included in the evaluation/review committee session team
This assumption is that in this case, the user should focus on evaluating the pending ideas

The user will land on the Campaign Summary page, when:

  • The campaign is closed AND
  • There is a Campaign Summary content.
This assumption is that in this case, users should be exposed to the content the campaign manager decided to share with them once the campaign is closed. Usually it will be the campaign results and achievement.

Otherwise, the user will land on the Campaign Ideas page.
