The author/co-author(s) capabilities to edit their own idea depends on the state the idea is currently at:
- They can always edit ideas in Draft and Clarification states
- Depending on the system setting per state in all other states, only if the author is part of the roles that has the relevant permissions.
For editing the idea, go to the idea's page, click on the three dot icon and then click the "Edit" option.
If the "Edit" option isn't visible for the user, check the state's settings. Go to Settings > Workflow and click in the relevant state "state settings":
Open the "General" settings and choose the relevant option for "Which users can edit the ideas in this state":
If features are added to a state, the author will have permissions to view the values according to the permissions that
were determined in the features settings page.
