Campaigns are accessible to their audience even when they are close. However, when a campaign is no longer in the "Open for Submission" state it is no longer visible in the Active Campaign Widget on the homepage, since the system owners will usually prefer to promote and assure users are focused on campaigns in which collaboration is still active, i.e. campaigns in which users can still submit ideas, comment and vote.

However, there are a few methods to continue promoting the campaign, so it will be visible to the users:
You can showcase it by selecting to include it in the Hive on the homepage OR as a Hot Campaign to be added to the Active Campaigns widget.

These methods can also be useful when wishing to promote a specific campaign.

Notes:

  • As these 2 options are not dynamic, the campaign will be displayed until configuration will change.
  • If the campaign's audience is limited, it is not recommended to use the hive option, since the non-invited users will not be able to view the campaign, and therefore the use of the space will not be optimal.

The Hive:

The campaign can be selected to be displayed in any of the hive's areas:

To configure it, go to Settings < Homepage < Configure Hive.

Choose any of the grid boxes to showcase the campaign:

The "Hot Campaign" option:

The "Hot Campaign" will be displayed in a dedicated section above the "Active Campaigns" strip:

To configure it, go to Settings < Homepage < Configure Active Challenges. Choose the campaign you would like to present.

On top of these methods, please note there is also a way to create a dedicated news item that promotes the campaign, and/or using the newsletter in order to attract users to visit the website, by exposing them to latest campaigns/news.

And of course... make sure the campaign has an engaging campaign summary.
