Campaign managers are allowed to move ideas between campaigns. This is mostly used for moving ideas from the generic idea box to a specific campaign that the idea can be relevant to.

To do so, go to your idea page, and click one the three dots button. Then, choose "Change Challenge/Campaign".

Choose the target campaign and click "Submit".

The user that performs the transition, will be required to fill new required fields, including the campaign category (if defined in the target campaign) in order to complete it.

You can also move multiple ideas to another campaign by using bulk actions as explained in this article.

As mentioned in the pop-up window: All voting (both Community Voting and Review Committee scores) will be lost.

Note that - any data lost cannot be restored.
We highly recommend to perform this action in a test system before doing it on your Production system.

When an idea is moved from one campaign to another, the following will occur:
-The idea existing content, including the comments will remain.
-The idea will stay in the same state if the two campaigns use the same workflow state. The idea will not be able to     be moved into a campaign that does not use the same workflow state.
-If a specific field that has content exists in the original campaign, does not exist within the target campaign, the content will remain, but it will not be editable anymore.
-A new history line that describes the transition will be added to the idea.
-In case the transitions will be resulted with any roles automatic re-assignments they will be executed within 1 hour from the transition.
