Profile images are a great way to help identify the user and add a face to the account. Normal users and sysadmins can manually upload a profile image to their own account.
To do so, first select "User Edit" within the profile page.
Then within the "Picture" section, the user can select to upload an image. This image will display on their account page and within all sections that highlight the user's profile.
