Qmarkets allows you to anonymize users that are blocked within your system. This action will allow you maintain the content a user has created (i.e. the ideas, campaigns, and other content will still be accessible via the system), while also complying with the Data Protection Legislation regulations and the GDPR.


The level of anonymization (i.e what profile fields will be anonymized) can be configured by the customer as explained in this article.
After the data is anonymized, it can not be restored

1. Within your Settings menu, under “Users Management”, select “User Privacy”


2. The “default fields” will list what information the system will anonymize by default.
There is way to change this setting.


3. The "Anonymized" option must be selected for the system to enable this process


4. "Anonymized Profile Fields" will allow you to select additional profile information that should be anonymized per user.


5. The "Anonymization Scheduler" allows you to customize to settings:

  • How soon a user’s account will become anonymized after being blocked.
  • After the second period the anonymized data will be completely deleted from the database.
